Headlight restoration

Fiuza’s Auto Detailing can restore most headlights. A leading headlight restoration company whose products have been tested by the FAA specially trained Eddy Fiuza. These products are used throughout the world in the automotive, aviation, and yachting industries.

Most older vehicles have traditional glass headlights which stay clearer for a longer period of time.  However, most newer vehicles have high-tech plastic lenses which weigh less and are more impact resistant but these lenses quickly fade into a brownish yellow causing poor visibility and a safety hazard.

A CBS4 I-Team investigation found a growing number of motorists driving with headlights that may not even meet state or federal safety standards. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, headlights have to clearly illuminate the roadway for at least 150 feet.

FHP Lieutenant Pat Santangelo said "The bottom line is it is a safety problem; it is a safety hazard to have this type of lens. If it's obviously not as bright as it should be, that individual can be pulled over and issued a citation for unsafe equipment."

Products Used

Eddy Fiuza researches the market and uses his knowledge of the best automotive paints in order to continuously upgrade the products he uses. He invests in the most expensive products exported from out of the country to use on the most expensive exotic cars. These products have such quality that they are used on B2 Bombers, Blue Angels, and Navy Destroyers.  If these products are used to protect military equipment, which are exposed to harsh environmental conditions, Eddy knows these products would provide the best long-term protection to his client’s exotic cars.
Preparing your vehicle to be sold

If you decided to sell your car, Eddy Fiuza would work diligently to see that your car’s worth is at the highest of any other of that same model.  Eddy Fiuza says he wants people to acknowledge the beauty of your car’s finish as if looking at a piece of artwork. His artistic workmanship is an excellent reflection on both you as the seller and him as the detailer.
Concourse Event Preparation

Eddy Fiuza offers personalized service at concourse events such as Cavallino Classics, Pebble Beach’s Concours D’Elegance, and Super Car Weekend in West Palm Beach. Eddy Fiuza spends as many days and weeks necessary to prep your vehicle to perfection. Eddy Fiuza also extends his services on-site to support his customers on the day of the concourse event.
Overall Vehicle Inspection

Before working on a vehicle, Eddy Fiuza inspects the car using an Electronic Paint Thickness Gage (ETG) in order to analyze the thickness of the paint and clear coat on each panel of the car. He also uses this same technique with cars which have been painted with a factory single-stage lauqer or Glasurit such as the Dino, F40, Testarossa, 308, 328, 348, 365BB, 512BB, Lamborghini Countach and  others. His observations are crucial before beginning the polishing process in order to determine if there are enough mills of thickness present to avoid thinning or damaging the paint or clear.  Eddy Fiuza uses his knowledge and skill to determine if a vehicle’s paint can be restored safely without causing damage.

Eddy Fiuza uses special lighting tools and magnification lenses to expose certain elements which cannot be easily seen with the naked eye.  One such lighting tool is the Sun Gun which Eddy uses to look for any signs of pinholes, wet sanding scratches, swirls marks, towel scratches, mottle, and fish eyes. He is also able to determine if there are inconsistent color paint matches.

Eddy Fiuza uses his knowledge to educate his clients about the paint and body of their car before he even begins to work on the vehicle. He is able to determine if their vehicle has ever been repainted.  Eddy Fiuza’s preparation techniques insure a higher level of protection than just waxing which allows him to make the car’s finish look and feel like new.

Interior cleaning

Fiuza’s Auto Detailing successfully removes all types of elements, which can cause a premature breakdown of your vehicle’s interior. Fiuza’s Auto Detailing kills dust mites and other harmful bacteria using a specialized steam cleaner.  The inside of the airconditioning vents, floor mats, and carpets are also steam cleaned and sanitized. This process renews the car’s original new car scent without the need to use any type of air fresheners.  Vehicles damaged by mold and mildew due to poor storing conditions can also be restored using this process.

Leather cleaning and restoration

Fiuza’s Auto Detailing exclusively uses Leather Therapy products to ensure quality leather treatment. According to Leather Therapy most leather care products fall short. Soaps and some tropical preparations may be alkaline (pH above 7) and break down leather fiber. Soaps can leave behind a soap scum or residue while some treatments darken leather or migrate, creating greasy spots that encourage mold and mildew problems. Others are unable to lubricate the corium of the leather, the interior matrix that provides vital cushioning and flexibility where leather works hardest.
Refinishing and redyeing leather

Fiuza’s Auto Detailing can repair and redye leather interiors which have lost their original color. It’s crucial to pay close attention to the products being applied to your expensive upholstery as various products do more damage than good. Fiuza’s Auto Detailing researches the best products recommended for high quality leather.
Exterior Cleaning

Fiuza’s Auto Detailing uses a thorough process to keep your vehicle’s overall appearance looking showroom quality, providing long term protection for your vehicle. Part of this process includes steam cleaning and polishing the windows.
Fiuza’s Auto Detailing applies a high end product which repels rain from your windshields for up to six months. Engine bays are also steam cleaned. The hoses and harnesses of the engine bay are treated with a non-silicone protectant, which has anti-static to prevent dust from sticking. Tires are pressure washed and rims are cleaned in order to remove dirt and brake dust. Once the rims are cleaned a polish is applied to repel brake dust from sticking to the rims.

Glass scratch removal

Fiuza’s Auto Detailing also specializes in safely polishing glass without causing distortion. Car owners have the option of having scratches removed from their windshields without having to remove the entire glass. If your car windshield is scratched due to flying debris or even just normal use of your wiper blades, Fiuza’s Auto Detailing can remove the scratches without having to replace the glass windshield.
Hard water spots from acid rain, well water, canal water or sprinkler water can also be polished out.
